Thurlawirdingbirding

My Thurlawirdingbirding story.
When we were kids, we were always going out bush. Mum and Dad, all the kids, adults and lots of teenagers; boys and girls. We’d stay out bush for two weeks, when it was school holidays and there were wildflowers everywhere we’d go. When we wanted something sweet, our mum would always get the Desert Sturt Pea flower and tell us ‘just suck on this kids, it’s very sweet and it’s honey.”
This painting is about my beautiful Desert Sturt Pea flowers.
I see different colours and different sizes of these flowers.
We would always pick the flowers when we were kids.
