Repercussions – Stolen Generations

Having returned to my ancestral and cultural home – Ngarluma Ngurra, I have been asked one question often, ‘What is it like to be home?’. With that question comes the assumption that it will fix any issues I may have, that would be wrong. People also assume I am playing a victim – WRONG, I am a SURVIVOR. this piece represents just a little of the confusion, questions and complexity of what it is for me to be part of the ‘stolen generation’, and the ongoing impact of that. There are so many layers that still require clarity.
