Marrga are the creation spirits who made our law, culture and language and gave all the Pilbara Ngaarda-ngaarli, our land and our law. They’re still out there in our Ngurra looking after things, watching over everything. Rivers, hills, birds, animals and people every generation now for 60,000 years. Ever since the Ngurra Ngujunggamu, the beginning of time, the time when the world was soft.
