This painting represents the Three generations of strong independent blak women in my family. My grandmother, my mother and myself and the continuation of the longest living culture in the world. The breasts not only a symbol the divine feminine that radiates within all all of us but the matriarchal society in which we lived and thrived in since the first breath.
