Cracks in Country and Culture

There have been some not so pleasant aspects of colonisation that have led to cracks in country and culture. Pollution, mining and simply put, the disgusting rubbish habits of humans in the bush, have marred the once pristine lands of this beautiful country. Additionally, it illustrates the cracks in Indigenous culture across Australia. A number of languages have been lost, or are on their way to being lost. Children have been taken from families and stripped of their true cultural ways, and true aboriginal lore practices have been diluted. As a nation, under federal and state governance, we must stop and ask ourselves how we have allowed such a tragedy to occur, and now, how can we prevent it from occurring again?
