THANK YOU FOR ANOTHER GREAT COLOURS OF OUR COUNTRY EXHIBITION YEAR!
WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU IN 2021
Colours of our Country shares the stories and customs of Pilbara Traditional Owners, showcasing a piece of the Pilbara through a vibrant collection of artworks proudly exhibited by Rio Tinto.
In its’ 15th year in 2020, Colours of our Country has evolved from a pop-up exhibition commemorating 40 years of Rio Tinto iron ore operations in Western Australia, to a high-profile annual event, providing art-lovers with the opportunity to connect with Pilbara Aboriginal artists and hear the stories that inspire their work.
For the first time ever, Colours of our Country reached a national audience in 2020, with the launch of an online exhibition and gallery to coincide with the physical exhibition in Perth, Western Australia.
Please visit Yinjaa-Barni Art Centre, Wangaba Roebourne Art Group and Cheeditha Art Group to see the most recent work from the artists involved in Colours of our Country 2020.
