Early days, many travelled by camel and buggies pulled along by horses. They used to pull up at Python Pool for lunch. Python Pool is the main permanent pool. Every year, during the raining season, the top of the gorge fills up and flows down to fill up Python Pool. It as been a swimming hold for people for many years. We still like going out there for a picnic and swim.
