First held as a pop-up event commemorating 40 years of Rio Tinto iron ore operations in WA, the exhibition has grown into a high-profile platform that connects art lovers with Pilbara Aboriginal artists and the powerful stories behind their work.
Since its inception, Colours of our Country has sold nearly 3,100 artworks, generating more than A$3.4 million to support Pilbara Aboriginal artists and their communities.
