I like doing the Desert Sturt Peas. That always brings back when we were kids. We were always out bush. We never used to get any lollies or anything like that. But mum would give us the Desert Sturt Pea flowers to stuck on, and there’s a little bit of honey in there.
When we were kids, we’d always go out bush and get those things, bush medicines and food. Our elders teach us about that, and we teach our kids and our grandchildren. We show them what we were taught and what to do and what not to do.
Prices will be released when the exhibition opens and sales go live on Monday 16 September.
